    Unfindable Object Ids

Hey, this is my first post and I have a quick explanation and question or 2:

I was looking to add a cave to the game. I found a great one on wow model viewer, but couldn't find it in my database. Where would I go to find the display id of things like caves?

    One more quick question....
If it's not possible to do what I mentioned above, could I make my own cave out of the terrain somehow?

I want it to be in the water so you have to swim up into it from a hole. (ex. beaver dam)
    That's all thanks!

Models such as caves are .wmo's, a different type of objects. These aren't in the database but rather in your client patches, i.e. the files within WoW\\Data. A few releases have been made with a couple of unique gameobjects such as trees or buildings.

There is no way to add every object in the game to your database at the moment without needing a manual patch. There's a gameobject release with approximately 24k gameobjects but to use all of them you need a new .MPQ patch file and anyone who visits your server will need to have it as well.

The point is, there isn't (as far as I'm aware) any cave spawn-able at the moment without needing a patch.

This would go in Emulator Questions, not WoW General, by the way.
