Just a quick reality check

Everyday I see lots of new ways to scam accounts and lots of new ways to get free gold from gold selling websites and I realize that there are a lot of kids out there (and maybe some adults) that don't fully understand what they're doing.

World of Warcraft is a game, sure, but generating fake Paypal receipts, and stealing other people's accounts definitely isn't. Now, I'm not trying to play the integrity or morals card here, but taking gold from a gold seller using fake receipts is no different from stealing anything online via the same method, and I don't think some of you guys truly grasp that.

If I call up Radeon and convince them that I paid for a graphics card and I get them to send it to me, that is fraud.

If you steal someone's account through a fake online website you setup, why not just include a credit card field, get that too, and buy yourself something nice. It's the same thing.

Just because you're getting all these things for a game, the laws protecting them are real. Besides breaking a plethora of online laws, you're stealing money. Plain and simple.

I realize I'm going to get tons of "WTF THEY'RE ALL STUPID CHINESE FARMERS" replies, but this one is for the kids and for the people so desperate for gold they don't even realize what they're doing.

If someone stole my account I would be pissed off just because of the money spent thats almost it.

But seriously if someone steals a WoW account that's like stealing money. And stealing WoW gold is like stealing time and making people waste time.
