Gnimo standing around without mount

I have seen gnimo several times standing around without anyone near him who owns the mount. So I would say he just did not despawn after someone unmounted. First time I saw it was on icecrown just at the border of some phasing area. But today there have been two standing around just in Dalaran in front of the bank and in Ironforge at the door to the portal room. So I was curious if there may be a known bug how to enforce this. Or is it really just a random bug that may have to do with server lags or something? Anyone got information about that?

I've seen it a lot with the horde version too, one time I saw the troll vendor standing in the same place for a whole day..I guess it's just some random bug.

Both vendors have been sitting in dal on my server for a week now.

We need to find out if this can be reproduced anyhow. You could create quite interesting patterns on the ground with it

As of the positions I saw so far I would assume someone mounted up and ejected gnimo.
Maybe interacting with the npc while dismounting or ejecting the npc. Selling something, buying something, repairing. Flooding the npc with clicks could also help. I will try this later and report back if there was anything working. Any ideas are appreciated.
