The World of Warcraft Armory - Maisteri @ Wildhammer - Profile
Basically title explains it all.
How to start advancing my character? Please be more specific than
"Go ICC lol!"
If possible use Wowhead links. Thanks!

Try to go into a guild that raids a lot, join most of the raids.
Do your heroics every day you will get 2 Frozen token thing's...
Do the weekly every week..
Join all raids even Satharion (still 5 Emblems)
Just emblems... if you are full tier 9 you can go ICC 10, you can grind gear there you will get frost emblems frost emblems are for tier 10 that will grand you access to ICC25, with good gear from ICC25 you can do ICC Heroic mode.
Then you just need to wait till the next Cataclysm comes out
But its of course also about skills...

Hahahha yeah or find a new guild..
(personaly I enjoy a pug but the people don't always know the tacts ¬¬)
why should we spoon feed you. go to ej and read up on your class and BiS charts.
c'mon kid
Not smart to post your character on mmowned :P
GS has became very detrimental to gear seeking people, my advice is use the 'find random lich king dungeon' and get the emblems, once you have enough get 1/2 of the set that can be purchased.
Ide use OpenDNS( <- Nameless WoW Armory. )next time.
And like Inquality said, just queue for randoms as much as u can and you will get geared pretty quickly. I had about 5k~ gs from running stuff for badges and ICC 5 man gear for 2 days. DKs pull pretty nice deeps in low gs as unholy so you should be able to get into a voa10 and some sarth. Just keep running them heroics and but the triumph gear from the plate vendor in "Tanks a Lot" I believe.
I would recommend reading actual guides on your specific class. Sure you may get some feedback from a community like MMOwned but it will never be complete feedback.
When ever I want to start a new character or step up my game, the first thing I do is go find as many guides as possible that are relative to my situation. Then it's just reading, remembering (take notes if needed) and executing.
Common resources are the obvious such as Elitist Jerks, WoWWiki, Arena Junkies, but you could also try websites such as Ensidia.com where their guild members write guides too.
Try understand your class mechanics first. Which stats to prioritize, which gem slots you are wanting. Then get an addon such as Atlasloot and take a good look at the loot available to you. Don't take big steps such as Logging onto your Tier 7 Naxx geared DK and looking at ICC 25 man loot or what ever. Take a look at heroics, badges gear, check where you can get the most upgrades, most improved general ilvl gear and so on.
I often write down and set myself goals. I want x piece from that heroic and y piece from that raid etc.
Take it step by step. Try make friends or at least talk to players of the same class that are in decent guilds on your server and get some pointers from them. Inspect them, armory them, check their talent builds and stat priorities and so on.
Good luck![]()
