The prices - you will have to ask individual buyers... they ALWAYS vary between servers and demand.

And if you were selling gold for a living, no, it wouldn't be a good profit. But if it's for some pocket money then yes, I guess 10-20$ would be alright (But that's only if you have like a few thousand gold and the demand is high ^^)

i tried selling gold recently and the most i could get for 1000g was £2 :/

It would seem that selling gold is not as lucrative as it once was, what with all the Chinese/botting farmers driving the prices through the floor.

I bought some gold about a year ago and current prices are less than half of what I paid then.
