Discussion regarding my 25 char Multi-boxing

Hello everyone!

The purpose of my post today is to get your feedback and ideas about raid composition. I intend to eventually be running 25 characters all at the same time via multi-box, and I want to get your opinions on the best class composition to use.

The multi boxing will be done with the aid of various tools so this raid composition should be thought of based on the abilities of normal players. Just think of it as if you could design the best possible raid composition and we can go from there

To start off with, I have absolutly no idea! But to get the ball rolling... ALL death knights (haha not really)

Are there any classes that can be completely left out of the raid composition? (i'm thinking probably not)

I your raiding that's gonna be a bitch, heals and dps and tanking all by yourself seems unrealistic

With the aid of LuaNinja, it'd be quite easy to tank, heal, and dps an entire raid of 25 self-run toons simply by mashing a single button.

Indeed albedo! The problem only becomes the amount of money required for 25 accounts : )

Anyways, no suggestions yet? This is a serious topic! Seriously! I haven't played for awhile so I am unsure what classes are most needed in modern raiding 25 man and 10 mans : )

Get a shammy imo, for massive chain heals for easy spams.

And lets figure a cost for 25 accounts:

1 Account (for all CD-keys) As of Dec. 21 2009: $90 USD
25 Accounts (for all CD-Keys) As of Dec. 21 2009: $2250 USD

1 Month time (for 1 account): $15 USD
1 Month Time (for 25 Accounts): $375 USD

Total of All CD-keys and 1 Month time (For 1 account): $105 USD
Total of All CD-keys and 1 Month time (For 25 accounts): $2625 USD

question: Is it worth the cash

Well for starters I very much doubt you want to take melee classes! Whenever you get Frozen solid or CC'd you will have a hell of a problem.
Something that has been done alot is play Elemental shamans, It is really easy to multibox with and can be truly deadly.

if u got this much moolah shoot some my way to level the chars for ya.

I doubt he's going to be doing this on live servers. Private much? But yeah LuaNinja should help the process a lot. With the new 1button raidheal macros out, it should be really really doable. May I suggest something like this

5x Arcane Mage
5x Moonkin Druid
4x Resto Shaman & 1x Holy Paladin
5x Affliction Lock
1x Protection Paladin, 1x Feral Druid, 1x Unholy DK, 1x Retri Pala, 1x Elemental Shaman

When you do this I BEG YOU to release videos of you clearing 25mans

Also NOTICE. If you need help designing macros for this to work, I'll gladly help you making macros targeting, assisting, following and healing,damaging or tanking. (At the cost of 1 spot in the raid )

Elitetech do you mind if i ask you why so many moonkins and arcane mages? Is it because they are extremely easy to multi-box with or is it because they have a lot of mana stamina? oh and.. resto shamans are better healing then priests? Why are there no priests at all in your setup?

Well arcane mages are just my ranged dps of choice and so is moonkins, and they are easy to multibox. I prefer resto shamans over priests when boxxing because of chainheal and totems being really affective with all your chars stacked. You could always replace 1 resto shammy with a priest if you'd like or something else to be honest. this was just a really quick sketch of how i'd imagine it'd run good

I'm kind of looking for a setup that isn't neccessarily easy to multi box.. just one that is effective : )

Also, what about for a five man?

in a 5man set up id choose 5 frostmages. you run into arena with your mirrors and your waterelemental, spam some aoe and the opposite team is down in under one minute. once saw that in arena, it was a huge lol when i saw the 20mages with 5eles
