If I become banned on one account for anything, does it effect the rest of the Bnet account?
If I become banned on one account for anything, does it effect the rest of the Bnet account?
No.
fillahfillah
I'm assuming it would have to do with what you got banned for. When my last account was banned for botting they banned all other accounts with the same email. But If you got one banned for swearing etc. the other wouldn't be affected?
Just my 2 cents.
Let's say you swear on one acc, that one get banned, not the rest.
Let's say you bot on 1 acc, that acc will be banned, not the others.
Let's say you bot on 1 acc and send the loot to the other acc, both get banned.
Let's say you bot on 1 acc, put the stuff in your guildbank and withdraw on your other acc, botting acc get banned.
im going to create a botting acc, can some more users pls report how blizzard behaves in these situations when banning accounts?
im currently thinking about these 3 options:
- just add a second wow to my bnet acc and transfer a lvl 80 alt for farming
- create a new email and a new bnet acc with my name and the same cc as my normal acc
- create an acc with my mums name and pay it with her cc or via gamecard
option 3 would surely be the safest method, but i would need to buy a lvl bot and wait until the toon is 80 :P
is it really necessary?
While running the danger of necro'ing this thread. I wanted to confirm that if I have multiple accounts depositing into a guild bank (ore, herbs, cloth, whatever) and a bank alt on my main account withdrawing out of the Guild bank.
If the bot gets banned, only the bot gets banned (and all emails associated with that account), not the entire guild?
This seems to be the case per Vineyard's comment, but looking for some confirmation from folks in the know.
=D
Thanks
Only the account caught botting should be banned.
