If an Account is being looked at for Botting, Does Blizzard look at IP adresses?

Hi guys. I currently bot on 4 accounts.. and two of them were hacked becuase the stupid person who owns them was keylogged.. So, hes gone to get his account back.. but its being looked into for botting. Are my other accounts that are in no was associated with that account at risk becuase they have been running off the same IP? Cheers

Probably not... unless they were linked to your name or your CC then Blizzard may not even consider it. But since it's your IP they may. Just don't bot on a lot of accounts! Change your MAC Address, IP, whatever it takes! =)

^_^ yeah they didn't use the same CC to pay, all were using game cards. I'm going to change my Ip adress today ^_^ I just don't want to loose my main account. Ive never botted on it but I've used the same IP non the less

just make sure the accounts have different first names at the very least. Then, in the worst case scenario that both accounts get banned, you can say it was your brother's account and you never did.
idk if that'll work, just a suggestion.

hmm i was thinking about to buy a new account and let it bot. but on this pc i also play with 2 main accounts where im not gonna bot on... so they will ban them too or what?

yes you do. my mate let me go on his warlock and take it to GM Island with 2 others. I,then, summoned 60 players. My real account was banned and the warlock had a 2 day suspension.

I've heard VPN's don't work for botting as it won't change your MAC adress?

You could always use another internet location to create the account, then say you were hacked when you get banned for botting...
And blizzard in no way bans by IP

Blizzard does not I.P ban, but when they investigate bot report or such they sure will look at all possible evidence and that include your I.P adress.
