How to do the /Roar while casting :) ?

Been watching a few Frost Mage videos and always see them do the /roar while casting frostbolt etc

So was just wondering if you guys could help please

without a vid I can't really tell but could it work with just macroing something like

Tried it on my ele shammy, just wrote roar in the chat, no emote except for the Lightning Bolt cast.
And placing roar ahead of /cast ABILITYGOESHERE
Same, no emote.

for me. maybe its a racial? dunno but you can always do

/e roars with bestial vigor. So fierce!

Well, if you just type /roar you do an emote too.

nice, this does indeed work. however, the mage in the video didn't jump so it has to be another trick. maybe it's a combination of his shattered barrier proccing and then him casting? or is he using will of the forsaken while casting?(I'm unfamiliar with both mages and undeads sry)

Watched it in HQ + Fullscreen, took a pic, zoomed even more in... It says "Roars with bestial vigor. So fierce!" So unless it does what sayu says;
Shattered Barrier Proc
/e roars with bestial vigor. So fierce!
/cast Frostbolt
or some shit, im clueless...
