I don't know if you get access to trading section when you get verified. If not, you need to be either a donator or contributer and higher.

Donator = 15$
and I really doubt anyone on MMOwned wants to pay more than 25$ for a WoW account

I talked to Ket on the phone when i was interested in being a I.D. verified member like right when he released the I.D. verification system,
we talked for a couple minutes about how that he is wanting to have the members that are active in the forums and trustworthy, etc. So he will refund you for your I.D. verified purchase.
This does not mean that your cannot ever become a i.d. verified member, just be more active in the forums and get to know a few people, help out some confused members.
