Bnet xferring, specific situation.

Hey I have a real quick question guys....

I have a UNmerged to bnet friends account. That I want to not keep and ditch after taking the characters off.

Do I....

A: Merge it to MY bnet account, xfer chars.....

OR

B: Make a NEW bnet account with my name, merge it to THAT account, and xfer chars to my account....


Which one is best and why? I am looking for answers from people who have done both or either etc.

I also was told that if you have separate bnet accounts, you have to wait 30 days to submit transfer request after the bnet merge in new account or something? And if you merge it into the same bnet account with your WoW copy, its instant? Can anyone confirm/deny this? Basically is it different having 2 separate bnet accounts with the same names and xferring chars between, than having them on 1 bnet account?

A friend gave me his account, so I can either merge into my bnet - or make a new bnet with my name so his account names gets switched with the whole bnet merge name change thing.

Putting both accounts on the same Bnet will get rid of the 30 day wait, and also make it so your friends account doesn't go to waste. It would probably be a better idea with 1 bnet
