Made my own bot... Am I about to get banned?

Hi I made my own bot using the user interface and an external script to read info from the game then return the required actions to kill things. It works great.. a little crude but great. I've been using it for a week or so.

Now I am paranoid that I will be banned. The bot spams alot of keys and it wasn't made to be stealthy. I knida jsut wanted to see if it worked. Last night my account was reallly laggy, there was nothing wrong with my connection or the server. do you think warden was doing something? do you think theyre on to me? am I bout to be banned?

what are the chances they can tell what my script is doing. I thought It was pretty safe. but maybe not.

I'm really worried.

How long does it take them to ban (like an average estimate) you if they detect something they deem banable?

If you are that afraid of ban I would only suggest not to bot.
I don't bot, excactly of that reason. I tried a hack, but only on private server.

As ChildeRoland said, if you are afraid of being banned then don't bot.

As far as I know warden won't catch you as your bot is private, basically it does not know you exist and won't be actively scanning for you.

That leaves the only other way you could be banned which is if another player is suspicious, they will simply report you and blizzard will look into the case. This is the only factor you should be aware of to be honest.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will keep botting then... I don't want to play any other way. I'd rather be banned... I already leveled up 5 seventies the legit way... so im not going to waste my life withj my new 80.

I dont have to worry about players because I stay near my computer while botting and have an alarm on it for when im sleeping.

I am going to randomize my code more tho.. so the keypresses are more natural. do u think that should be a worry? can warden detect key spamming?

As a response to your last question, it usually takes 1-3 days to get banned if they catch you. I know from expirience /sob

As i was botting on my main acc(stupid me) i was watching it bot for 1 hour.

As i was watching it i got DC'ed.
I tryed to log in but i was banned....

No people around me, no whispers, just a ban right on the spot without any warning, and that was after i botted safely 1 hour.


Buy a new account and bot on that one mate

Remember that they can watch your software, You've accepted their disclaimers that they can see what your doing, and if your using a third-part software program you'll be either permanently banned for like 24-48 hours, my first time i used a hack on retail i got banned for 48 hours.

I have botted for 2 years now, always AFK botting. And im using A LOT of hacks, And no warning or ban yet... Well, some of us are lucky
