This is major. Very very major. For me, as someone who doesn't buy gold but occasionally sells gold to these companies, hopefully this means I make more money. But to those of you who buy gold, especially from those "straight from the farmer" sites, may get hurt a lot.

Yeah, pretty interesting stuff... one downside is at least, that many, especially kids in China made their living by farming gold. Probably no more than food and shelter as payment, but that is luxury for them.

^Are you kidding, Chinese monitor what their citizens do on the internet. They examine each site that opens up in china to approve it, if not they censor it and will shut it down. When a user creates a webpage they have a little "cute" cartoon police officer looking down from the corner of the screen to remind them they are being watched. This could be very effective in hindering the sell of gold.

Prices of companies not based in China are likely going to soar since they no longer have to deal with extremely low prices from Chinese farmers. So yes, it does effect you.
