Yes thats correct it will display as [FTP] and just like in a normal FTP-Client you will see the connection info the the server and what message it gives you together with the login and password. You have to look a bit closer to find email acces because you have to figure out the hackers pop3 settings but it isnt much harder.

Okay cool. I was looking last night, you may laugh but, I spent over an hour trying to get a file with a keylogger, but no luck? Its always the way - If you want it you can find it. If you dont want it, you'll get your ass hacked.

Ill be away for a few days but definately gunna spend some time messing about over the weekend .

Haha yeah at first it might be a bit hard but once you know what to search for then it will be allot easier. Stealing logs is pretty fun and sometimes you even find the hosting details of the server in the logs or the emails . Apart from that if you are bored this is something that keeps you busy for a bit and time passes by fast, sometimes you find garbage logs and then another time you find a pure goldmine.

- "Warning keylogger", "Paypal Hack", "wow hack sites" are all things you can search for. Allot stuff floats around on forums or small [Dot]TK sites. If that doesn't help just go to limewire/emule and search for the newest songs and search only for .exe files allot of them have keyloggers.

Also after you found a keylogger you want to clean your virtualbox with a viruscanner or format it again. You don't want another keylogger keylog reverse keylogged files at a later time....Xzibit won't be proud (pun very much intended)

Also the method miLl3niUm explained should work too i havn't tried it yet and can't take any credit for it. But if it takes strings from exe's it wont be able to find decent compiled stuff because the data simply isnt stored in plain text (what im assuming).

But any respectable spammer or real hacker will store their logs on a server in SQL and i have yet to discover how to get acces to those .

This is common sense in finding a keyloger to steal from... but people should stick with searches related to the info they want to steal. ex. don't search for "paypal hack" when you need wow accounts... it's less probable you will find wow related info on those FTPs
