Banned - Subscription Refund

Hi. I got banned a month into my 6month subscription (paid with Paypal). Should I try to get a refund for the remainder of the subsciption or is it a waste of time? Is Blizzard legally allowed to keep the 5 months payment after banning during the first month? Thanks.

Of course Blizzard can legally ban you...your account is their property. Technically, they could ban every account in WoW 'legally'

I got banned for using L. Spiro's Memory Hacking Software to speedhack in WoW. I think it Warden was recently changed to detect it.

I wasn't asking if they could legally ban me; I was curious if they could legally keep the whole payment from the 6 month subscription I bought with Paypal, or if I was entitled to a 5 month refund because I got banned in the first month out of the six months I paid for.

When my account got banned a while ago they wouldn't refund, good luck though.

They wouldnt refund me either. I called up my CC company and charge backed the charge. They had no problem with it, and I didn't pay for the 1 month out of 6 months that I actually used.

They wouldnt refund you..happened to me in 2007 and tried everything possible without success

This is true. I was fine using it up until the latest patch 3.1.2, where I got banned for Speedhacking through Maura. Luckily, it was my first ban, but I got a Final Warning. =/
