Blizzcon 2009 In-game pet

Hi, i was on the wow eu site and i saw that cool murloc pet with the gun lol :> and it took me to blizzard.com/blizzcon/dtv/ and it says In the weeks ahead, DIRECTV will run a special promotion – through the BlizzCon website only – offering the pay per view event free to new DIRECTV subscribers who sign up for DIRECTV at that time.

Please note that this promotion will only be available to new DIRECTV subscribers who sign up for DIRECTV via a link that will be posted on this page when the promotion goes live. Those signing up for DIRECTV service will also have free access to the live Internet stream of the show.

For anyone who is already a DIRECTV subscriber prior the start of the promotion, the package will be available to purchase for $39.95, and includes the Internet stream for free.

The Internet stream will also be available for non-DIRECTV subscribers to purchase for $39.95. These offers are not yet open, so please check back here as the event approaches for details.

i want to know if i actually have to pay (purchase) the $40 for the DIRECTV / non- DIRECTV to get the pet or if i can do the DIRECTV promotion (which gets me it for free) and still get the pet?

You would have to subscribe to their services, so you would end up paying more than $40.

If you are not a DirectTV user, just get the internet stream.

A blue post put out earlier today stated that the $40 internet stream will also give the pet (if allowed in your country)

I'll be buying the internet stream myself when they have it available.
