Well, on that video when he's running to GM island it looks a lot like what the under SM looks like when you fall under SM. SO I don't know, maybe he attached GM island to the instance somehow. I really am not very good with model editing, just my two cents as I have managed to get under instances and thats blue/green floor is what is usually there.
