2 days ago my friend's Battle.net account was suspended for 2 days because of letting his friend 2 states away play on this 2nd account on the same battle.net account.

If this is you I would suggest telling your friend to "stfu get jo own account bitch" <- Maybe in a nice way O.o

P.S. Don't merge your accounts (like I did). About 2 weeks after I merged my account i was like "I R SEL ME 1ST ACC AND KEPE SECUND!....DOH!"...****ing battle.net.

Hope Blizzard doesn't make this mandatory anytime soon.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering how bad the account merge would be. I'm wondering now if you have an account get banned due to botting/hacking etc. if they will ban all merged battle.net accounts.

Anyone have any info on this?

They won't ban you for merging your battle.net account with your WoW account, they infact encourage it, but they discourage and will ban for account sharing as it is against their ToU/ToS. If that's what you were saying baintz, perhaps I misread heh.


Edit: Okay, I reread your post, I'm pretty tired and I just noticed it..lol..No, I doubt they will ban all accounts tied to one battle.net account if it was caught for hacking/botting, that would just be plain cruel if they did though.

@OP. I haven't had any troubles sharing a merged B.net account. I share with three people. (I have a personal account I level thats not merged with that b.net)

I tested and had someone log in from Cali, one from New York. I'm based from Texas. Nothing happened. Blizzard catching something THAT small is rare. I dual boxed two accounts. One mine, one my friend in Cali. Nothing happened. Just very small percentage that blizzard will give out a warning ban.
