Does Warden use a instant or delayed ban system?

Hello, i was curious, if someone was to use a detected hack, would warden ban them instantly or would they delay the ban a couple of days? i know some of the games i used to play had ban systems that would ban them up to two weeks after detected so that the user didnt know what hack they used caused them to be banned. I was just wondering which one warden is, thanks.

AFAIK if warden detects something, it only sends report to blizz and then they'll ban you if they figure out that you are hacking/cheating

They usually ban people in waves as well, a lot of people at the same time to have a bigger impact

Yeh, as above posters, i was caught botting, but wasn't actually banned for about 3 weeks until the massive ban wave about 8 months ago. Got 2 of my accounts in 1 hit.

Back in the May 2008 ban wave I was using glider for awhile, and they had prolly detected it for some time before actually banning me and a lot of other players.
