Can you swap EU acct for US?

Federal Bureau of Moo is going to give me an EU account, but I live in US. If he gives me the acct can I swap it over to US? so that I can play the acct on a US server? without havng to pay for some kinda swap? Give Rep to Federal Bureau of Moo!!! my house burnt and I've just recently been able to buy a comp but cannot renew my subscription to WoW so he's doing something that 1/100 wouldn't or couldn't do! he deserves rep!

EDIT: You can change your realmlist to play on the EU servers and before you ask how.

Second. You can not swap the account from one continent to another. But you can play on it in the US by changing the realmlist from

To

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist eu.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""

But I believe you can call Blizzard if you move to another continent and have the account transfered. But I am not certain. Anyhow, that would cost money.
