Best Glider alternative?

After playing about with it, its not so bad.

so far tested it on a priest, everything seems to be ok, working out how to buy from the inkeeper but its mailing to alt repairing and turning crystallized in to eternals and mounting.

I dont think it can farm herbs or mine unless the mobs you kill you can mine/herb. its in need of some love and the amount of people moving from glider could very well help improve it.

The errors seemed to have been fixed by using "mimicframework" wtf that has done i dont know not sure it even installed properly i just assumed i needed .NETframework like most other botting tools, its done the trick.

But i still hope something developes from openbot

I tried Zolo. It sorta does the job for me. There's a lot of configuration and scripting that you have to do manually, so it's not as point-and-click as Glider was. Mimic is $10 / month to use their software. That's kinda steep IMO. I could easily pay some 12 year old to babysit my computer and play wow for that much.

That may be true hawk, $10 is a bit much considering how buggy it is. But as good as zolofighter is i and im sure others need a program that can bot 4+ accounts on one pc and sadly zolofighter cannot do this as it stands right now. So i and suspect many others are left with no choice but to use wowmimic.

If you can find something better give me a shout !!

P.S you cant buy from innkeepers thats why i failed trying (using wowmimic)

Kudos to the OP - this topic has to be created sooner or later! So, I'm here to seek for replacement for the famous MMOGlider, which is now... well maybe not dead, but incapacitated for sure. Price doesn't matter a lot as long as it is

- Safe (undetectable by Warden).
- Stable (can run 24/7 without crashing much).
- Supported (unlike opensource bots where you have to fix bugs yourself).
- Can be used in multiple copies on the same computer, as well as on multiple computers in the same network.
- Is able to use some kind of waypoints analogue.
- Is able to skin, herb and mine (and I mean not just "herb corpses", but harvest herbs and ore veins).
- Is able to use mount (at least ground mount).

Would be cool if it was able to read terrain data, automail loot, respond to whispers and so forth, but it's not as important as requirements mentioned above.

So far I've found Rhabot (which is scam), open-bot (which requires ISXwarden and thus doesn't work), farmerjohn (which is unavailable atm), zolofighter (which doesn't support multiple instances) and mimic (which can't herb/mine). Anything else?

Im now going to try running a few virtual desktops using zolofighter and see how things goes ill let you know if it works out

Also the guy from wowmimic claims his bot is going to be updated soon and its getting a new gui and will be able to skin/herb etc etc.... Sounds too good to be true. (as its really buggy and nowhere near the finished article)

wowmimic also costs $10 a month for each bot you run.... taking the piss i think

$10 a month is not real problem as long as a) it has some kind of trial period (so I can be sure it fits my needs), and b) it has no initial cost. Remember, we've paid for glider $25 initially plus $5 per month for 4 bots... And I hope glider comes back in a month or so, so $40 per month is ok. Or, rather is going to be ok as soon as its author makes it herb/mine...

I dont agree with some of the comments on the mimic bot right now. I use it myself and it works quite well. It has mined/herbed before... and I have seen it take a toon from 80 if you create custom profiles instead of converting them with the converter program.

I have 10 keys myself I am giving at a discount that aren't activated at this time. If anyone is intrested, you know the drill.

Okay. I had a trial key to mimic, and I did not enjoy it. It was so horribly coded I think it gave me cancer.
