WoW Client Question

Well, I recently started WoW back up again.

I reinstalled WoW (Right now I only have the Basic WoW)

And then it just jumps to patch 3.0.x for 2.6GB. I'm suppose to patch to that right? I think thats WOTLK..

But, I can still play my "normal" WoW with that patch?

You are always able to play Downgraded accounts on the highest wow version. But its not possible to play a wow account on a classic wow client

Okay, thanks. I thought of something like that. Because I remember making Trial Accounts and playing. Everything worked just not going to TBC and making Draenei/Bloodelves.
