Help Playing the Auction House?

Hey, I'm just looking for ideas on the best way to make money playing the AH as of late. I realize it will differ from server to server. Only good thing I have found recently is buying the mats for Brilliant Spellthread, crafting it, and reselling.

On my old server (in BC) I used to buy out all the Terocone, and sell for 10g more. made around 500 gold profit a day, sometimes 1k on Tuesdays (more raids that day). Not so sure in Northrend though maybe its the same with a new herb?

buy enchant mats cheap in weekends sell expensive on wednesdays/thursdays - as you said urself ppl need more enchants those days.
