I am going to buy loot rights to the best gear in the game currently to gear up my green-geared alt for Ulduar. How much would it be reasonable to pay, approximately?

A lot, and I suppose it would depend on how long it takes to get all the stuff.

It cots quite a bit usually, its best to just get in a good guild and do it correctly

you cant buy the gear you need for ulduar. First of all there is only so much you can buy, if your lucky 3-4 pieces. Then you need to fill the rest. Blizzard has already said that people in T7 is gonna have to really learn the strategy to get through.
