Buying Accounts = Banned

I recently purchased a Paladin from BuyMMOAccounts.com, thinking the site was very secure and professional. But the pally was only 52 at the time when I bought it so I leveled it to 70. After the time I had with the account was over, I had to purchase more time to keep playing of course. But I remembered seeing the former owners name on the account, and no possible way of changing that and then using my credit card would let Blizzard know that I had a whole different name then before. Which would make them believed that I purchased it. I was wondering is there any way perhaps to be not banned from buying a account? Or will the outcome always be the same?

Why don't you just buy a gamecard from wal-mart or something? And if you use a different credit card, and they ask you why the name on the account is different, just say that you needed your friends card. If you want to be safe why don't you just go to blizzard.com and write down all of the account info just in case they ask you about it, but I seriously doubt they will question you about the different credit card.

Most of the time Blizzard doesn't go back on their word. It'd be smart using a gamecard. If I did say it was my friend it'd be sorta obvious to tell if he was on the other side of the country, and I lived here in Indiana loL! But as I read my reply from Blizzard they knew that I bought this account. I don't know how maybe perhaps MMOWNED.Com does something to their sold accounts that gives it away? I'm not for sure, but just a heads up don't purchase from them.

Has anyone bought an account and had it for quite sometime? And didn't get banned?

They DO NOT match that up, i've been trading accounts for along time now. The #1 one reason accounts get banned is because to many people know the account info if its been traded around alot and somebody calls blizzard and takes it back. Well if you call to many times(i think its about 3) blizz gets suspicous and locks it. I've used credit cards on accounts that were'nt under my name many times and nothing happened.
