    Buffhax?

First of all i would like to make it 100% clear that i am not here to beg for some1 to post a link to buffhack software or anything like that, im here to show you what i have found, and hopefully you will be able to improve it (i suck at CE lol.)

Anyway, i was mucking about with CE and buffs just after BC came out, managed to freeze PoM, my mage wtfowned. So then i decided to try and alter values for buffs, so i made a druid, got him to lvl 10 (imp MotW, +2 all stats) did a search for the values, got down to the 5, altered them and i got:

(The druid in the photos is lvl 8, tried to alter armour values but changing stats has the same effect. I wiped my comp and that was the only photo i still had.)

    this lol

Incase your too lazy to click on the link: WoW basically gave me a -number to compensate for the +number i had just given myself, so, if you looked for the pointer to the base buff ammount, and froze the -number it tried to give you, would you have working buffhax?

Just thought id ask as most forums seem tho think that buff duration is server side...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvOIB...related&search

Dont bother watching all 5 min of it, you can get the jist of it from the first 10 sec lol, its not my vid, just thought id post it here to prove my point. So, if buff duration is done client side, i think that it's possible that buff stats would be client side aswell. If you could just search for the -number, freoze it or set it to 0, methinks you would have a whole lot of stam . I just dont have the time to do it, and i wouldnt know how to, so id like it if someone who knows what there doing could take a look at this and just tell me if its possible, cheers
    -Dem

I know it says no questions but i couldnt think of a better place to post it, if an admin could move this for me id be gratefull.

The video used netlimiter which is a software that makes you connection lag (in a controlled way) . This exploit has nothing to do with CE and adjusting values , all that is Gold , Health , Buffs , Exp is server sided . The only way to change those values would be to hack into the Blizz servers which is near impossible and not advised .

Yes, im not a total retard what i meant was, if you use CE to find the -number WoW gives you to compensate for any change in buff values, you could change them to whatever you like.

    Re: Buffhax?

but the negative number you could change it, and would see it chanegd, but the thing is: youre just lying to yourself.
th TRUE value is stored serverside, what youa re editing is the number you see, not the value it represents. i once tried this and i still got PWNT by a lvl 5 nightsaber :P, nice idea though.

i can udnerstand what im saying...and who said books were the only text that taught :P oh yeah..... my teachers....
