    WoW crashing my video card.

So, while im playing WoW sometimes, my video card will just crash. Making my computer insanely slow, freeze a bit, and go to 4bit, making me restart, pretty much. I know what you guys are gonna say, get an update for your drivers. But besides that, what could be causing it?

Is your RAM big enough? Check the specs for WOTLK and see if yours are at Recommended settings and make sure that no other big program is runnign while youare playing

Its been said already, and you even said it yourself, you gotta update the drivers.
I had this same problem when I first started playing Wow, and it would reoccur every 6 months or so for some weird reason, and I had to just reinstall the drivers to fix it.

If you can't find them post the card and model number and some of us who are bored could look around.

Edit: And if for some reason that does not fix it...
If its randomly happening after you've been playing a bit, it could be overheating. Try checking to make sure the fan on the card is turning and isn't clogged with dust. Or take the side of your case off and ventilate it while playing. Then see if it does it.

I had a problem with freezing and lag when WotLK came out. I put another 1 gig of RAM in there and ran smooth. It very unlikely to be your video card that would be lagging it.
