I know blizzard is going agenst private servers, yada yada yada so on and so forth, but why not mmowned? I mean with all this content about private servers, exploits ect you think blizzard would be trying to take this site down don't you think? I mean if they took mmowned down do you think it would completly cripple us? ( i.e. those who post these guides and stuff ) and destroy our comunity, effectivly shutting down almost every private server and hack?

They can't, Well its possible to get a site destroyed but another one would pop up elsewhere.

Although we are the biggest, it's not like they can just kill our community. The site can be killed, but the community, and the general idea of a website dedicated to breaking WoW rules, cannot be.

I don't think they'd bother. They obviously look at the Exploit section, and it would probably be a bit detrimental to them if they removed such a centralized and huge list of exploits that obviously makes finding and fixing the problem, as well as punishing its users, that much easier.

As Verye mentioned, we are a great for Blizzard. Lately anything big that gets posted here gets hotfixed the next day.
Our scamming section is also quite accessible, giving them a look into the methods used, and what they may be able to do against them.

If Blizzard takes down this site, they lose a great (easily accessible) resource, while the people who come here would simply form groups elsewhere and not stop their current activities.

Besides, we don't really have any organized crime groups. Most of the people in the scamming section are just kids looking for a free account or some gold.
