Blizzard: Warmhammer Players Already Returning To Warcraft

Quite a number of World of Warcraft players left the game to join Warhammer Online on its launch day, but Blizzard is confident that most of them will be back soon.

According to Blizzard COO, Paul Sams, having a large number leaving WoW then returning a few months later on the launch of a new MMO is just a pattern Blizzard is now accustomed to. "We've certainly had some of that happen, which is the same thing we experienced with Age of Conan and each time an MMO has come out we've seen some amount of reduction of use," he explained.

"The good news is that we've seen a significant number of people, well over half, that cited Warhammer as their reason for leaving - they've already returned."

Alot of people here about a new MMO coming out and read up on it and they promise soo much in it, then you join, and find out that all the stuff they bregged about suck... Like AoC's combat system..
