Arena "teir" system

For those who have not heared, come WotLK, there will no longer be arena seasons. They are switching it to a more teir based system. The first set (of 3) requires honour points and about 150 arena points (to prevent people from jsut running AV to get full epiced.) The second requires arena points and the easy ratings (1600 to 1700ish). The third set requires the 2000+ rated teams and a lot of points.
Just figured I'd post it to let people know, but I am also wonder what people think about this?
I personally like it, however I think business wise, it could end poorly for Blizzard, because the amazing players will get their full Set 3, and quit, unless they come back to do some raiding.

I think its stupid. if someone comes in lates and gets the tier 1 then how are they going to compete with people in the arean t3. also once they get there full t3 there will be no point for them to do arena anymore....seems stupid.

Agreed, but that problem already exists right now, so I can't see that having a major impact.
