rofl they are dead wrong the new patch is 3.0.2 basically patches are numbered like so

| |------stage of expansion ( 4 is the sunwell, 1 was the first raid (fukd if i memba lol)
|--------expansion number (eg.orginal wow = 1, BC=2,WOTLK=3)

still a long tiem away, every1 eems to say every restart is the aptch, more often it isnt =P

and as you should know wotlk is november release =)

Actually the 3.0.0 patch is going to be the ones with new talents and shit not the release of wotlk, so it would make sense coming today or very soon.

I haven't heard anything about it being released today, and I've been lurking the WoW forums since the servers have been down.

Probably the same hype as the 2.4.3 Patch, was rumoured to be released like 8 times.

3.0.0 is gonna come out Right before WOTLK.... but not to far ahead of it. Same thing happen with TBC the 2.0.0 patch came out right before TBC
