    [Arena] Tactik's

    Arena tactik For Mage and Rogue

    General Information
    This set up gets owned a lot by simple luck and mistakes you make, you won't be going in arena and have a combo that you can beat 100% of the time. You don't have heals, 95% of the teams you play will have a healbot. It's hard to dps druids because they can shape shift out of mage's novas and they can dispel your rogue's poisons. People will abuse pillars because they can avoid Mages damage very easily, and avoid being CCed. Warlocks will always rush the Mage because they can kill him with ease. Oh yeah and every druid you'll face will be in BEA and your mage wont be able to use blink because it never works and always bugs out. If you don't have nerves of steel don't play this line up because you'll be getting gray hair faster than you wound playing cookie cutter druid / hunter. Lawl I am joking but no seriosly:0( Communication is the key with 2 dsp teams, make sure you talk to each other and coordinate the CC. Sheep/ blind at same time can cost you a game if the target trinkets out of both.
    Builds
    Mage
    17/0/44

    This is standard build but the reason I didn't get imp frostbolt is because I hardly find myself casting frost bolts in 2's and those are easily avoided. 4/5 winters 80% is good enough. I don't use arcane missiles, even tho they go thru poles, it still puts distance between your other instant spells and the target. I try not to stand still for too long to eat a 4k aimed shot anyways. Even tho Mages got mana buffs I still have Frost Channeling.
    Rogue
    18/0/43

    My Rogue's build at the moment is 18/0/43 with no points into Improved Eviscerate and with 2 points into Improved Poisons instead. I find these Improved Eviscerate worthless in a Shadowstep build because in higher brackets your main goal as a Rogue with Mage/Rogue setup is to lock your opponent down. Kidney Shot and Rupture will out-weigh Eviscerate in almost every situation in high brackets. Your core damage should be coming from Hemorrhage-spam.
    Gear
    Mage
    Gemmed for mostly Hit Points/Resilience, I would recommend having over 10k Hit Points before going for + Damage.
    Rogue
    The Rogue is Gemmed/Enchanted for highest possible Attack Power/Crit with almost no Stamina gems. For the highest damage output possible. Even so the Rogue should still have over 400 Resilience in full Vengeful Gladiator gear and over 11k hit points.

    resto Druid and Rogue

    General Information
    Restoration Druid/Rogue may be seem to be a weak team at first, but it can be one of the strongest combinations in 2v2 when you put in the time to work on coordination and strategy.

    One of the main strengths is the fact that both of these classes have huge amounts of control that can be used to take an opponent of out combat for large chunks of the match. Another is their ability to re-stealth mid match if things are not going well.

    Killing pets is a crucial strategy that must be used against certain teams. Hunter and Warlock teams are extremely hard to beat and often mean killing their pets multiple times during a match. Matches can go on for 15+ minutes; meaning bring a lot of water and flash powder for each game (I've easily used 30 water in one single match).

    Even against the toughest teams this combo still has a chance if played perfectly to pull out the victory. Which makes this team very strong in a constantly changing player vs. player environment.

    With practice and good knowledge of your class, it is easy to become very competitive with this elusively fierce setup.

    Strengths

    * Huge amounts of CC.
    * Re-stealthing.
    * Large amounts of mobility.
    * Overpowered cool downs.

    Weaknesses

    * Leather armor makes you weak to heavy melee teams.
    * Pretty weak to very well played double DPS teams with Rogues.
    * Fairly hard learning curve.

    Note: As a general rule, having a Human Rogue on your time is preferred. Being able to open on other Rogues and Druids is priceless.

    Feral Druid and Rogue
    General Information
    As you may already know Feral Druids are not that popular, but it is a very fun build to play and provides a good challenge to those who seek it. This guide is written from the Druid's perspective.

    I recommend that anyone interested in this setup go watch Deep's videos, he knows his stuff, and has very good examples of most of the team compositions. The movies "Deep Feral 5" and "Deep Feral 6" are both available with commentary on Warcraft Movies.

    Quick Tips

    * Having a Human Rogue is Ideal for this setup if you are Alliance.
    * Having an Undead Rogue is Ideal for this setup if you are Horde.
    * You will be healing and casting a lot, get used to it.

    Builds
    Druid
    1/46/14
    This is the standard arena Feral talent setup. 2 points are taken out of Stun and Fear resist, to put into Nurturing Instinct which gives you +Healing equal to 100% of your Agility and increases healing done to you by 20% in Cat Form(Self HoTs and Improved Leader of the Pack included). You pick up Nature's Grasp for CC/Escape, Furor, Natural Shapeshifter, Naturalist and Omen of Clarity to top it all off.

    1/47/13
    This is pretty much the same spec, except for 2 points are switched around. One point is taken out of Survival of the Fittest, which is a loss of 1% stats and 1% anti crit. Also 1 point taken out of Natural Shape shifter resulting in shifting costing about 100 more Mana per shift. These 2 points get put into Primal Tenacity to add an extra 10% Stun and Fear resist, which is HUGE!

    This spec is only recommended if you are confident in your abilities to escape/avoid CC/Damage and to dish it out as well. I would make sure you are have high Resilience and that you have a good Mana pool to back it all up.
    Rogue
    20/0/41 - Standard Shadow Step
    There are a few variations of this, I know my partner did not pick up Ghostly Strike and chose to put that point into Envelopi
    ng Shadows instead. It saved us a number of times for sure.

    hope It was to help for ya
    Have a nice day !

    peace
