Chestfarming - question

Hi guys, I just started wow again, before I quit you could chest farm as a rogue, I've been looking around, and I know the firs rule of chest farming is don't talk about chest farming. but I'm wondering if it is still possible to chest farm something? and what the easyest way to get your LP skill is, seing as the SM doors got nerfed (I think)

Mana tombs normal mode runs for the chest farming, 2 chests per run and 2 adamantite nodes per run.
