errhh mate, im using it every day to connect out of an insecure network...

the config option "redirect-gateway local" will simply redirect all traffic through the VPN.
all the connections from your computer are then tunnelled through the proxy connection
to your server at home. all connections to WoW servers or any other stuff (file sharing apps etc) will seem to originate
from your home server.

Then you are in turn routing the traffic from your client machine across the VPN, and then having the other network route the traffic out from there.

Yes that would work, if you take the extra steps.
