HELP! Account suspended until I can provide ID for a person who doesn't exist!

I got DC'd from WoW today, and then when I tried logging it said this account has been closed....

I received this e-mail shortly afterwards.

Greetings,

We are sending you this email to inform you that your account XXXXXXXXX has been suspended until such time that the ownership of the account has been confirmed.

In order for us to unlock the account, please provide us with the following:

- A fax, scan or digital image of nationally recognised photo ID, such as passport or drivers license (please do not include public transport cards, library cards etc, as these are unsuitable for our needs).

and

- The last 4 numbers of the credit card you are using on this account or a picture of the game card used, if you use those.

IMPORTANT: Also include your full Name, Address, Account Name and E-mail Address

It had some more mumbo jumbo about auth key etc but i cut that out.

I had 2 70s which I'd bought and transferred on that account and 1 i'd levelled myself and a 61 which i'd just got 60 yesterday from recruit a friend... my problem is it's registered under someone elses details so it is impossible for me to send them any ID.

Is there anything I can do? Anyone who could provide a fake ID or something? Or a way to talk my way out of it? Also what is the reason they would've done this?

EDIT: The person DOES actually exist and I put their address on the acct cos they are who I bought the 2 70s off but I doubt they'd send me a picture of their ID as I think they may be behind this whole thing.

Contact the person you bought the account from and ask them for a hand. If they're a legit seller they'll often scan their ID to get the account unlocked for you. In the event that they aren't/you can't contact them/etc... there's always a fake id.
