[Question]Why do i need the source account's SQ/A?

I recently got an account , i knwo the last name, i was about to xfer off but it asks for his account's SQ/A, Father's Middle Name:.

What do I do? Am i Screwed?

I always thought it only asked for the account your transferring to's SQA not the one your transferring from. Then again that might only be US.

If it isn't that way then you won't be able to x-fer the character to your new account until you find it.

its to prove you are the owner of the account
....and you might be SOL...

You could however talk to a gm and come up with a sob story about how you forgot and the rest of your family is dead.....or something of the sort

Blizzard just changed their transfer procedures very, very recently.

They wised up on transfering chars to new accounts, so you now need the source SQ/A. I don't think they even ask for the destination SQ/A anymore.
