MMOGlider Live on Stickam!

Hey guys!
Just yesterday I started a Live Glider watch on /mmoglidercam


Everyone is welcome.
There are 6 other slots where people can post there glider in action, or even themselves!

I thought this would be a fun, interesting thing to do.
People who are looking into buying a Glider Key can watch live Glider in action! They can see what Glider can do, and experience it before purchasing it.


I will also be in there helping people who are having trouble with Glider, or have any questions about it. I have a program called ManyCam that steams my desktop and shows everything that I do. Which means, I can show you step-by-step procedures.


I posted this on the MMOGlider fourms, and it turned out to be a big hit! 40 Posts and over 700 Views within 7 Hours, so I figured since a lot of people on here glide and what not, It'd be ok to post here to and get it out a bit more.

We had the Stickam Admin actually come in today, and private messaged me saying it was a pretty cool idea.

Also for you Glider Powerleveler/Prof. Levelers or w/e out there, you can host yours in our channel, allowing your customer to see whats going on! They'd probably feel a lot safer wathcing it!

There are a few moderators set up in this room who are different people, there not bots or there not me. There experience gliders from the MMOGlider forum. The moderaters are currently: mmoglidercam, hateprotest, and codenamegamma.

We have live music goin on as well! Also, some people play Family Guy or some videos from YouTube that give you a lil something to do while your gliding or something.

Everyone who has been in here has said they've never had more fun gliding. You may think, oh, well all you do is watch people glide or w/e, thats no fun. We actually do a lot more than just watch eachother glide. We talk about a ton of things, listen to music, watch movies, etc.. It is really fun!

Were wanting to expand and get more people in here! The more people = the more fun!

Safety procedures for users who plan on using Stickam to film there Glider in action:

If you plan on filming your Glider in action using Stickam or anything else, and are worried about your account being banned, here are a few simple tasks to follow to help prevent anyone from seeing your Characters Name, Server, or even Account Name.

Logging In / Switching Characters - Always stop your filming during these times. People can see your account names, and or characters + servers and easily track you down. Lots of times, that can lead to reports and bans.

Addons - Using addons that will make your interface smaller (the part that shows your Name, HP, Mana, etc..) will make it harder and most likely impossible for people to see your name. I use X-Pearl. It allows me to make my Name box super tiny, to where no one can really see it. Also can use Minichat Addon that minimizes your chatbox ingame.

ManyCam - ManyCam has a feature that will allow you to 'Draw On Video'. Use that to cover up the Chat box. Also, go to Effects > Objects > Flags > Pick a flag, and left it in the upper left hand corner so it covers your Characters name. If you plan on Gliding and Streaming live over night, make sure you go to the Login Screen, black out Account Name and Account Password. Then Login, and black out Character names and Server name.

Alt + Z - This also works if you are gliding. Glider can still run and do everything it usually does even if you toggle the interface off. This will hide EVERYTHING, makeing it impossible for anyone to get the names or anything of your character. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS ON OVERNIGHT RUNS.

Stickam Chat - Do NOT give any information out about your character. Server Name or Character name.

Doesnt seem like a bad idea, but I think most ppl wouldn't want the char name to be visible. It's been said before that Bl!zzard is trolling these forums, so it would be risky

I don't think you'd really be able to read the toon name from stickcam alone, but it would be possible for them (blizzard) to check for a logged in player of X class and Y level in Z zone probably.

Actually, out of all the servers, they'd have one HELL of a time doing that. Also I use a program called ManyCam to host my screen on stickam, it also allows you to "Draw Over Video." I draw black lines over my name and the chat box. So there is not way possible really to get my name.
