Name Violation

So, earlier today, an assclown gets beside me and comments "how many undead does it take to report a name violation?" then i get contacted by the GM of how my name is a violation and I had to change it, knowing it's impossible to win, i saved the arguement and went ahead and logged off when asked.

Now my question is, do they check up on u to see what you changed your name to? Because so far it's basically gonna end up the same with a minor touch up

I liked my name, other people liked it and i wanna keep it. damnit. lol

I don't think they do, my name was AnalProbe for a while and I changed it back to it every 2 weeks for so.

Yeah, if your name was what it was here i don't think you have much to worry about... the GMs mainly found it offensive because of him reporting it, however i really don't think they go "Well, about time we check back up on ______ and see if he changed his name".

thanks for the replies, i just wasnt sure if other people had experience with this where they changed it back to what it was and got slapped with a ban. Pissed me off when i found out i had to reset up my entire interface after i changed it back though lol

My friend' twink got deleted cuz of the name : Bloedneger.... LOL ... Dutch people know what it is. ( means blood****** in english )

damn gogeta, that really sucks for your friend. i cant believe that they wouldnt even let him change it. I had two gnomes that i made and killed in IF on the mailbox named gnomessuck and asspal. never played them, so i dont think it was ever a problem =p

LOL! it took me a little bit XD if i were to just see that name i would never think that it was profane. Thats ridiculous you got reported for that. Why would you ever report someone just because of their name? of all the things lol

I once made an alliance alt named buckfotter.. got reported the third day. Somebody yelled at me and told me the name was "offensive". I yelled back saying "Im sorry to the homosexuals that my name has offended. I ..something something... have no intention to offend you, and i exactly understand you feelings especially since i know a personal friend that was sexually explored by his uncle." I said something like this yet funnier.

Well anyways, I made a horde alt in a different server. Then I saw a guy with the same name. I told him about my story and he told me that he has a 60 in another server with the same name--also horde.

I think the alliance has more of those concerned adults or parent types, and i guess they are protecting their kids. And the horde are more of the cool mature people types.

Heres the funny thing my name atm is Prel960D Now I had to change my name when I transferred servers but it kept it that way -.- Anyone love my name?
