Can u change a toon from private realm to wow realm?

I was wondering if its been looked at or even done yet. Can you change a toon from private realm to wow realms? Is it been tried before and what was the turnout?

Hmm.. this has been asked more then once and it is close to impossible... You would have to gain access to there character database by friendship or hacking. Being able to have access to one of those options is short of impossible. Even if you did hack into there db they would know so you would go to jail gg..

Loomus is right, unless you have physical access to Blizzard's character databases (which you probably don't) there is no possible way. Second, you would have to somehow have that server connect to the Character database server. I mean this would get into some legal stuff, but ya its possible I guess...........not plausible though

No is the answer. You can shift toons from blizz realm to blizz realm because it just changes what realm is stored on the toon. This is asking to shift something from the private server db to the blizz one, which you can't do.

Unless you can
1. Gain access to blizz's char database
2. Gain access to the private server char database
3. Reformat the data from the private server database so it falls in line with the blizz database
4. Not leave any trace whatsoever
5. Not get caught

WOW.. If you could get into the infor you could really make some REAL $ off the game. But as all you guys said ... I tried to take the folder file with all its info and add it to another realm but it does nothing so I thought i'd ask people who actually know what they are doing =/

If you mean the files in the WTF folder, they are just for ur UI-Settings.

and if you can do all of this, you could just make a new toon,

all information is stored on the blizz servers nothing usefull is on your computer
