gotosleep, blizzard can, and will, track the trading from your account.
meaning that they will track what have happened to the nexus crystals and gold from ur account.
if they do find out about ur nexus crystals on ur lvl 1 alt then my guess is that they will say: "hmmm u are trying to scam us using the oldest dupe trick in the book, u can hereby forget about the restore. Anything else i can help you with?." thats how i think it will go, but yeah its up to you.

Yes. This is possible... I have a 60 hunter who's gear is crap...so instead of just running mc/bwl ect, i just made a ticket saying all my tier 1 was DE and sold. About a week later BAM I had tier 1...but i had to sell my original gear to do so, but this was an Alt so I didn't care too much

o-m-f-g if that works, then you can just make a list of the most awsome gear ever, and submit a ticket saying that ths was your gear, and you had like 5000 gold. >.> <.< omfg!

Doubt it. Tier 1 is fine, so would tier 2 be, most likely at least, but if you said you had full Naxx tier, 5000g and a load of other epics, blizzard would look at your history, which would result in a ban. A big one.

So I can sell all my items, send in an GM ticket saying i had tier2, and I will get them back in mail? sound's risky. Btw, I remember when my cousin got keylogged, he sent in an GM ticket and he got banned 3 days for sharing hes account to others, wow that GM must've been pissed, not just that, he also got hes gear back, BUT in a mail C.O.D. with 35g for each item.

I'm just gonna give a warning. I don't know if the situation am talking about reflects any of yours but here it goes :
My friend had his account keylogged and had all his stuff disenchanted [full tier 2 shadow flame staff etc.]
The person who did this got about 100 nexus crytals and sold them all for around 2224g.
The guy obviously traded or sent his stuff to his char

When my friend try to get his stuff restored they told him he had to give them the gold back and they would restore all his equipment back. Somthing to do with keeping wow econmy or somthing like that anyway
when he gave em the gold none of his equipment had any of the enchantments that was on the equipment previously

This is just a warning as i said i don't know if it reflects any of the situations that has been said on this thread

that GM was wrong to do that in both occasions, you have 4 slots where you can get all your items back free of charge if you get hacked or something, and so the GM has no right to charge you or do anything. And Eratoc, I doubt that was a GM that sent you you're items back, if it was he was breaking the GM rules.

You can report gm's btw. I have done this twice,and the problem is, YOU HAVE TO SAY SOMONE AT YOUR HOUSE (brother,sister etc..) deleted your stuff, not you got hacked because that lowers the chances of getting your crap/money baack by 50% or more. Just say your brother deleted it, And they wont investigate anything, since they cant realy learn anything, because it realy WAS you that sold all your gear and such.
