Get a banned account back with TBC?

Well, I got banned for a couple of months ago, tried all guides to get it back but none have worked for me .
My question is if i buy and register a Burning Crusade to that account will i be able to play? or am i throwing the money away? :P

throwing your money away, it won't even register because the account isn't active. Accounts have 3 levels of status (maybe more?) 1)available for play, 2) unavailable for play due to non payment & 3) banned so if your account is banned it will just tell u ur an idiot

Heads up,

If you pay for a new account with the same contact and/or billing information as your banned one, depending on the seriousness of your offense on the banned account, the new account will also find itself banned (despite the fact you "did nothing wrong" on it) for "being assoicated to a banned account".

Believe me or not; but I've learned this first hand (twice).
