Blizzard promised us that the WotLK will be more based on alliance lore because TBC was all about Thrall finding his Greatmother and Garrosh Hellscream and all those other legendary people there, nothing for alliance.

The SW king might be included in the WotLK just to buff up the lore and make it more interesting for the alliance this time (what a shame). The Ashbringer questline will continue aswell, as we all know it. We just hope the lore will be available for horde too.

I don't recall Blizzard saying any such thing. They have said the lore will focus on the dwarves with further discovering their roots, the tauren and the newly discovered taunka a racial off-shoot, and the Forsaken and their new plague. Now the humans on the Alliance do have quite a few reasons to want to end the Scourge.

It doesn't seem to be leaning towards the Alliance too much at all though and both sides will get their big storylines
