Need help with a Netherwing quest.

Alright, well I found this site that had a full guide of how to get exaulted with Netherwing in about I think 2 weeks or so. I got to the dailys today on my rogue. I'm stick on the quest "The Not-So-Friendly Skies.." (link here The Not-So-Friendly Skies... - Quest - World of Warcraft ) Well I tried everything to try and aggro them. As a rogue it's extremely hard. I cannot use my throwing weapon, since they aren't on the ground. So I'm just asking for some tips from a person who has a melee class. Such as rogues and warriors who are exaulted with Netherwing and have a netherdrake, how they finished this quest if they even did it?

iv used a magic candle on them Magic Candle - Item - World of Warcraft it works even though blizz shortened its range to prevent UB chest farming

I figured out two solutions for this, the first time I had a caster pull them down for me. Then I saw a priest pulling them from the mid island, where they land. So I do it there now.
