Buying new account just for bot use

Hi guys, I'm going to buy another WoW account that I will just use for botting. So I can keep my main account safe (hopefully).
A friend of mine is going to recruit me so we will be leveling some characters to 80 then I will just let the bot take over but my questions to you are.


1. Should I create this new account with some new madeup contact info, new bnet account or my real bnet account?
2. If my bot account gets banned, how likely is that my main account will get banned? I will play on both accounts on same computer. (means same ip, should I change from static to dynamic btw?)
3. My idea to transfer items between the bot acc to main acc is having a guild bank between the accounts to deposit>withdraw stuff, comments?

To make a discussion of this, if you were going to create a new account, what character would you level/bot with?

Even if they were both on the same BNet, Blizzard bans by licenses except in extreme cases. In the even you got banned, only the botting account would be closed. Also keep in mind, even with botting Blizzard has the ban pyramid. You won't get a permanent account closure on your first offense. As for transferring items, the guild bank is a good method however if you get banned, no matter how you got rid of the items Blizzard can take back items or gold from either of your characters. In most cases, they won't take any items or gold but they will suspend your account that you've botted on. Situations can be different so no one can tell you exactly what will happen. Good luck.
