Keep yourself save from Blizzard, who prob patrols this site, Don't post a Screenshot with your character name,lvl,class ect...

Let's say you find a uber exploit, and you been harassing it for 2 weeks then release it into public, and let's say Blizzard wants to nail the one responsible.

You post a SS saying "This is the new character I made yesterday using teh uber exploit"

You post the character's name Mecharactersz, the race, troll, the class mage, and the lvl 1

Now blizzard has all the info they need to track you down

Basically they seach their database for characters named Mecharactersz

It brings up 50 of em across the server, then they cut their search a bit, to horde only, brings it down to 27 let's say, then break it down even further, to trolls, let's say it cuts it into 10, then divide into mage's, brings it down to 3. Then cut it down to being created yesterday-to two days ago, it will prob leave 1 left, then they just check the account to be sure, then pop warning/ban.

So moral of the story? Don't post your information that you don't want blizzard to see.

Blizzard DO have the ability to ban like this, and yes, they can.
But they WON'T because images aren't proper evidence. It is VERY easy to fake a picture using Photoshop or any other image editting piece of software for that matter.

My 2 cents.

Even if they wouldn't ban a person as an image is poor evidence, doesn't mean that they wouldn't datamine that character's logs until they are completely sure that it is clean.

It is just like getting a tip regarding a criminal investigation, you don't take what they say as gospel, but you do go check it out.

To be honest Shingles they don't need evidence. in Their ToS they state they can ban you for any reason they see fit so...yeh.
