Freezing HP possible ?

I know im usualy one to be negative about that kinda stuff but i saw a post on the exploring part of the forum in MMowned which made me think , but im not a programer so i was hopping that one of our talented programers could tell me if its actualy possible :

"You can find ALL Values allmost, for everything, there are some values you might not be able to change, but why not just block it from writing to the Value that shows it? Bang, Frozen HP! "

The reason why i posted this is because i do think your idea makes a lot of sense in a logical world but my logic has done me harm in the past . Anyway , do you think it would be possible to make a program which automaticaly finds those values and blocks em so that we could maybe freeze HP ?

Yes, because i blocked the Value for 3-4 hits while i could do what i wanted to.. After that i think it got detected by something and my client locked complete up, and then started to take up all CPU Power..

Maybe some built-in protection made by blizz.. I am not sure.. But in my world of very logical thinking, i think it's possible at the moment.. When my wow works again (crashed a file with MyWarcraftStudio while changing some DBC files), i will find more info about those Values for Mana, Hitpoints, XP, and if they change address, or they don't..

We could possibly make a development thread of this if we are going to make it work.. When i found the value very easily after doing the CE Tutorial, i found out what was writing to it, since it will NOT do anything if you just freeze it or change value..

I found the address writing to it, and then i replaced it.. Freezed Hitpoints yay (but has to last at least 5 minutes)

So when my wow works again.. I will try the other main values and test them.. Very short spells with very low Cooldown is like finding a needle in a haystack, so we have to stick to Big Values that doesn't change so fast like hitpoints.. (easy to test since you only need to attack a mob, then stop attacking and receive small damage, then you will find the value very easy)

I would be greatfull to you if you could find and block those values . But i have to say that this whole WoW client crash seems pretty bad and it tells me that maybe some people tried and succeded to do this in the past , then Blizz patched it . But i think its definently worth a good try : )

Well i have had some thoughts today, and i think too i people have done it in the past since i have heard rumours about it long time ago..

I was thinking of a thing that could be normal too, just a bug that was fixed..

So here is what i think happens when i block HP value:

1. HP value blocked, does not receive damage for 3 hits.
2. WoW Client finds out it does not receive "HP Values" from server.
3. WoW client thinks this a bug, so it tries to correct.
4. The Client uses more and more CPU Power to correct the problem.
5. My com is fully locked and need reboot

So.. I think when Blizzard made the game maybe, they were thinking, what if client wouldn't receive a HP Value answer? Then the people not receiving any would be invincible / invulnerable?

Okay we will make the Client check for HP Values then to make sure.

So, i think i need to turn that function off too in that external prog or in wow client.. So it doesn't check if i receive a HP Value or Not.. Then i don't think it would do anything..

Of course, Blizzard would probably receive a message or find out if you are not getting any damage for a long time, but wtf? They can't see CE, and you could tell you didn't see it since example a priest was in your party or you were "Power Word: Shield" 'd
