Logging onto 2 characters(2 Accounts)

Since the new patch today(2.4.1), I cant log onto both my accounts, my brother and myself both own accounts, one computer is in the basement in my brothers room, and 1 in my room in the attic, both computers very easily ran 2 WoW windows at the same time.

Since this morning, I was trying to run my priest through some instances, on my brothers rogue, running instances for rare spawns found it had spawned, tried to log into my priest, unable to connect first time, eh, rarely happens, renew my IP through the router like normal and logs in first time, but my server doesnt appear on the realm list??

Thinking its some kind of world server issue, log off, annoyed because I finnaly got the rare spawn but nothing I can do if world server isnt running right?

come back an hour later, log into my account(with priest on) check AH ok, its working ok now, go to log into my brothers account to look for the rare spawn again, server isnt showing up again?? so I log out of my account with the priest on, and reload WoW for my brothers account server shows up, log into mine, server doesnt show...

Ok blizz has done something or my eyes are playing with me, or its world server issues...

Try just logging in, get to the server list, see if I can see both servers on the list, log into 1, and then the other cant log in untill im logged onto a char on any server.

Thanks Blizz! Hope its just my net or im screw for farming instances without running up and down from attic to basement :P lol

Umm... you have router right? You need to change ports in forwarding related with WoW(i don't really know if there is some?!), maybe it will work.. I'm not sure, i don't have WoW.
OH and if you have the same MAC address(but that not really possible), but if yes, just change it.

ok just managed to log into the other account and my server appears on the realm list, but none of the characters apear on the realm, it appears as 0 characters on the realm, and when you try to log into it, it cant connect, think it has to do with running from the same MAC adress, I cant post on wow forums as when harry potter was comming out I posted a picture which contained a spoiler that wasnt even true but its considered a spoiler so I was banned lol.

I am able to open 2 WoWs at the same time and run my characters through instances. Like Doloran said, you might need to change the ports.

Nothing has changed other then the wow patch, so im not sure which ports im suppose to be opening? Anyone have any idea?

Alright thanks for your help, but that hasnt helped at all, I still dont see how it has anything to do with my ports when on the realm list page, my server comes up and shows 0 characters online, but when im not logged in on my other account, they show up.
