constant server resets??? does this fix 2.4???

So this may be redundant but after "some" characters were having trouble exiting the Battlegrounds and ending up in "limbo," Blizzard started resetting all the realms.

These are fast <2 minute resets but does anyone else think this may be a small step to attempt to fix a bigger problem?

I am guessing they will do a normal "weekly maintenance" in the next few days to fix the countless bugs so far with 2.4.

is this normal for patch release and what else are people experiecing with 2.4 to date?
