    Untested Mac Question

Hi there, this is my first post, so please take it easy
I've had a mac now for a year and just started getting into WoW, and am in the middle of reinstalling WoW on the new updated mac.
    Question is ..
Has anyone tried using a windows emulator to run xp in the background and using Cheat Enginer or a different packet editor of sorts while playing on the Mac side?

I would think since warden scans for all processes running, it wouldn't really scan that deep into a typical "program" running a sub-program within it?
    IE
    Play WoW on Mac
    Launch XP emulator program
    Launch CE in emulation
run CE through Emul. into WoW

that type of deal, or am I just thinking too hard?

    Thanks,
    Me!

If you run XP in a virtual machine, everything is completely contained within that VM. The only middle ground you have between the two is the virtual machine software itself, which will only transmit data between the two if it is designed to do so.
The same thing basically goes for something like Crossover. While it isn't the same as a virtual machine, you won't really be able to make the applications within it work with your Mac software.

Also worthy of note is that there is no Warden on the Mac WoW client. You would think this would really motivate people to make more Mac-based cheat engines or bots, but it just isn't so.

You can't, Like ^ said, VMs are self-contained. And even if you could, windows and mac do NOT use the same kind of memory functions.
Look at your post, now back to mine; Now back to your post, now back to mine. Sadly, it isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate content, it could look like mine. Look down, backup, where are you? You're scrolling through threads, reading the post your post could look like. What did you post? Back at mine; It's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again and the reply is now diamonds.

Anything is possible when you think before you post. The moon is shrinking.
