Avoiding Keyloggers

searched for this and coudnt find it.

If u think u have a keylogger on ur PC , go to taskmanager and look for "SOUNDMAN" if it has a 0 in it its a keylogger and scv.host aswell with 0.

Now if u still think u have a keylogger , simply make a notepad or whatever file in ur desktop and put ur pass in it. When u log in WoW just CTRL+V it.

Because keyloggers record the letters/numbers u type , so if u have a keylogger on ur pc it will find CTRL+V.

Just for reference keyloggers can be named anything...not just scvhost or SOUNDMAN...the one I got was named WinUpdate.

With the notepad copying over to WoW, wouldn't it be able to see that you opened note pad typed something in then transfered it over? Also some keyloggers take screenshots, I don't the notepad and copying thing will work well. But at least your trying to help us. And it might work depeneding on the intelligence of the person using the keylogger (I think they would rath credit card info not your WoW password).

well if they can see u open notepad they can see u open everything on ur pc, and would be very hard to do with one small program. it can be possible but very rare.

when i wasnt looking, my friend installed a 40 minute trial version on my comp.... i cleared all the logs though.

Maybe it works, maybe it still views you as actually typing the keys, i have no idea :P

the keylogger i have can take screenshots/log copy & pastes/log MSN convos/log keystrokes/log websites

and then upload it all to my website

and its under 500kb
